One of the best ways to get involved is to attend your local town meeting, you never know who may be on your local town council that might also want to create complete streets. We have been making efforts to work with towns across Bergen County to move towards safer and more sustainable street designs. This work can look like the adoption of a complete streets policy, demonstration projects, full street redesigns, and more.
We make efforts to attend county meetings semi-regularly and we have spoken at various local town meetings across Bergen County, some of which have since adopted a complete streets policy.
